Coming month in 2012 are going to be quite delightful for “Apple” fans. Apple is planning to launch it’s most wanted laptop “Apple Mac Book Air” in Q3 2012 with price approximately $799. This is supposed to be $200 cheaper than current models which are equipped with Intel’s Core i5 processor.
Last month, Intel’s general manager for PC client group Kirk Skaugen said that he believed we would see sub-$700 Ultrabooks in time for back-to-school sales. This would put entry-level Ultrabooks about $100 cheaper than today’s budget models although Intel may have a tougher time convincing buyers to purchase a new computer just months before Microsoft releases Windows 8.
Samsung Electronics and Qualcomm, the two giant electronic products manufacturing and service providing firms get together to develop Alliance for Wireless Power (A4WP).
As one of the famous technology website Techspot says:
One of the aspects upon which the A4WP hopes to advance wireless charging is allowing for “spatial freedom” between gadgets and the charging source, enabling power transfer through non-metallic surfaces. The idea is to take cable-free charging away from cumbersome sleeves and mats, as the tech is implemented today, and instead embed charging surfaces on anything from a table to a car dashboard.
Note:According to market research firm IMS Research, the number of handsets supporting wireless charging is expected to grow to more than 100 million units by 2015.
